October 2015

Here and some of the fun things we did in October!

Kami turned 3!!!! She loved every second of her birthday. She is such a happy little girl. She loves to sing, dance, play with Cason, ride her bike, give hugs, read books, play games, anything Frozen, etc. She says the funniest things and is so loud. She is so sweet and is a really good girl. Dan and I love her to pieces. We are so lucky to be her parents.

All five of us. We don't have many pictures with all of us!

Riding her birthday scooter from Grandpa Tony!

Pumpkin carving success.

The high school homecoming parade comes by the elementary school and all the classes come out to watch. I took Kami and Ellie over so we could watch too. It was so cute, Kami never stopped waving. The whole elementary was on one side of the street and we were the only ones on the other side of the street. Needless to say Kami got so much candy, shirts, and balls thrown to her that we couldn't even carry it all home. It was pretty funny.

Cason trying out our new rope ladder swing. It's a huge hit!

Cason and Kami playing with their friends Eason and Liv.

My parents took Cason and Kami camping one night after Cason's football game. They loved every second of it. I'm so glad they are making so many fun memories with Grandma and Grandpa.

Our last time swimming before it gets too cold for the winter.

We went a little family adventure out towards Zion. Dan rode his dirt bike up the wash while the kids and I hiked. Then he would take turns taking the kids for rides.

My hiking buddies. I love hiking with the kids (if you can call it that). They are troopers.

So... Cason and Kami had their own CamelPac  back packs, which are basically back packs full of water with straws coming out so you can drink while you hike. I didn't really think about how that would affect potty breaks and needless to say Kami ended up hiking back with no pants.

Kami and Ellie playing in the cupboard at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

My Dad, Dan, Cason and I all went golfing. It was Cason's first time to come along. He is really good! It was fun to watch him and he of course loved it! That kid loves everything. We love to take him to do new things because there is a  99.9% chance he will think its the best thing ever. I hope he never grows out of that.

Speaking of how much he loves things, flag football might be the thing he loves the most.

Costume parade at school. He is the blue power-ranger. At least we think thats what his costume was haha.

Fun carving pumpkins with Dad!

Dan had to run into work on Halloween so we tagged along and had him drop us off at the carousel.

Ellie's first carousel ride was a success!

In the field next to the carousel there happened to be a carnival with free rides, slides, etc. So the kids and I walked around and got to do all sorts of fun stuff which was great because Dan got stuck at work and we were there for a long time!

Kami going down the big slide. She looks totally confidant!

This is how we contain Ellie when we work in the yard.

Building the sprinkler system.

So we had these huge mounds of top soil (which is really sand) in our yard for a few weeks. It turned out to be the best play ground ever!

Hours and hours and hours of dirty fun!

These three keep Dan and I so busy. Sometimes when I take a step back and look at our life right now it makes me laugh. Things get pretty crazy around here.  But we are loving life and all the adventures we get to go on with this bunch.

2018 HIghlights

Picture journal catch up! Here is a quick month to month photo log of what we were up to in 2018. Time is flying by a little too fast! January- February- March- April- May- June- July- August- September- October- November- December- What a fun year! I know I am way way way behind but I just want to make sure I document some of our fun adventures so we never forget what an amazing life we have been blessed with. We have had plenty of hard times but looking back through these pictures helps us to be grateful for all the good times as well!

February 2017

February refused to slow down for us. The kids also refused to slow down for us. I sure do love these busy days with our little family.  Unfortunately, Ellie figured out how to climb out of her crib and decided that climbing out and playing with toys is much more fun than napping. So, she is done with naps, which makes this tired, pregnant mom very sad. When I put her down for naps this is usually what I find when I go back into her room. She keeps me busy! As you can see from the picture, the kids (I think it might have just been Ellie and Kami that did the damage) decided to pull ALL of the books out of the cabinet. They love to look at books, which I love. They usually just get the books out that they want to read, but this day was obviously different. Luckily, it is an easy cleanup.  Dan turned 32 this month! We had my parents over for mint brownies and ice cream to celebrate. He had to take the youth snow tubing up at Brian Head on his birthday so we didn'...

December 2016

Once again, I have fallen behind in posting our monthly journals but here is a quick picture recap of December (at least what I can remember of it).  Kami had her dance recital at the Festival of the Trees here in Hurricane. I could have died from all of her cuteness. She did great!  In early December the girls and I took a quick trip with my parents to Monterrey to visit Amy's family (evidently I didn't take any pictures while we were there haha) while Dan and Cason stayed home because of work and school.  It was a really fun trip for us girls. I always love a chance to be around my sisters and to let our kids play with their cousins. It was also a good excuse for Dan and Cason to have a boys weekend. In this picture Cason is helping Dan rake the leaves at the house of a widow he home teaches.  They also raked a lot of leaves at our house! Dan is a such a good dad and take every opportunity to teach our kids to serve others and to work hard. Al...
