Baby Shower!

Last week the cute ladies in my ward threw me a Baby Shower.
They formed a whole committee to plan it and it was quite the production.
There were tons of women there and they were so generous.
Now I really can't wait for the little guy to get here to put all his cute stuff to use!
Only a few weeks to go... we can officially say we are having a baby this month! Crazy!
Here are a few pictures from the shower!

Dan's Mom and Aunt made this blanket for us! If you can't tell from the picture it is a golf blanket! Dan and I helped tie it while we were in Denver last month.

Our favorite pair of shoes from my sister Amy! I can't wait to put these on his little feet!

Our little Aloha outfit from Elder Grandpa and Sister Grandma in Hawaii! So cute!

This present is pretty self explanatory.

This is a cute little mat for the baby to lay on. It is sooo soft, we wish they made it for adults!

  3. You have super sweet women in your ward. I'd almost consider having another baby if they'd agree to throw me a baby shower;)

2018 HIghlights

Picture journal catch up! Here is a quick month to month photo log of what we were up to in 2018. Time is flying by a little too fast! January- February- March- April- May- June- July- August- September- October- November- December- What a fun year! I know I am way way way behind but I just want to make sure I document some of our fun adventures so we never forget what an amazing life we have been blessed with. We have had plenty of hard times but looking back through these pictures helps us to be grateful for all the good times as well!

February 2017

February refused to slow down for us. The kids also refused to slow down for us. I sure do love these busy days with our little family.  Unfortunately, Ellie figured out how to climb out of her crib and decided that climbing out and playing with toys is much more fun than napping. So, she is done with naps, which makes this tired, pregnant mom very sad. When I put her down for naps this is usually what I find when I go back into her room. She keeps me busy! As you can see from the picture, the kids (I think it might have just been Ellie and Kami that did the damage) decided to pull ALL of the books out of the cabinet. They love to look at books, which I love. They usually just get the books out that they want to read, but this day was obviously different. Luckily, it is an easy cleanup.  Dan turned 32 this month! We had my parents over for mint brownies and ice cream to celebrate. He had to take the youth snow tubing up at Brian Head on his birthday so we didn'...

October 2016

October is Southern Utah is my favorite. The weather is absolutely wonderful. Here is a quick recap of what we were up to. Ellie took to the ottoman to display her artwork during General Conference. Look how proud she is of herself! Unfortunately, marker does not come out of fabric so good. It's a good thing she's so cute!  We spent a lot of time enjoying Grandma and Grandpa's pool. The kids have turned into little fish. Even Kami, who didn't like putting her head under water now prefers to take her floaties off and can swim short distances. Her favorite activity is to dive to the bottom of the shallow end to pick up dive sticks. Cason's favorite pool activity is to jump off of the jumping rock to catch the football. Ellie just loves to waddle around and explore, but especially loves when Dan and I get in to play with her. We discovered an awesome park in Hurricane call Grandpa's pond. There are tons of ducks to feed, walking/biking paths an...
